Drogi Mateuszu,
Komunia Sw:
· wzmacnia wewnterzna/intymna jednosc z Chrystusem,
· zabezpiecza, wzmacnia i odnawia laske uswiecajaca otrzymana na Chrzcie sw.,
· oczyszcza nas z przeszlych (lekkich moj dod.) i zabezpiecza od przyszlych grzechow,
· wzmacnia teologiczne cechy milosci, zatem pomaga/uzdalnia nas odsepraowac nas przywiazan (cos dla mnie) i zakotwicza w Chrystusie,
· laczy nas glebiej z tajemnica Kosciola.
Eucharystia jest Jezus…
... The Risen Lord is present in every tabernacle of every Catholic Church. When he enters our body and soul, he, the Bread of Life, transforms us into himself. He gives us the ability to love our neighbor and to serve the needs of others. How can we participate in the Eucharistic Banquet and not feed the hungry, clothe the naked, care for the homeless, visit the sick, help the neediest of our society, and promote a more just society? "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst" (John 6: 35).
“It is to be desired that the faithful, every day and in great numbers, actively participate in the Sacrifice of the Mass, receive Holy Communion with a pure heart, and give thanks to Christ Our Lord for so great a gift. Let them remember these words: The desire of Jesus Christ and of the Church that all the faithful receive daily Communion means above all that through the sacramental union with God they may obtain the strength necessary for mastering their passions, for purifying themselves of their daily venial faults and for avoiding the grave sins to which human frailty is exposed.
"In 1978, August 6th, the Feast of the Transfiguration, also coincided with a Sunday. I had been in the seminary only a month. It just so happened that my grandparents lived close by, and as on most Sundays during my first summer of studies, my grandfather picked me up in order to enjoy a relaxed and carefree day with my grandparents.
As we were driving along scenic New England highways, we were discussing the acute and rather dramatic situation of the Catholic Church in our country. The period following the Second Vatican Council was quite tumultuous, and it was the mission of Pope Paul VI to guide the Church through very stormy seas.
I told my grandfather that one year earlier, on the Solemnity of the Assumption, Paul VI had spoken openly about a spiritual premonition that he had had about his own death. On August 15, 1977, he told the crowds gathered together for the Papal Mass that he would not be celebrating the next feast of the Assumption here on earth. As I mentioned this fact to my grandfather, I told him that if all of this really comes to pass, we would have a new pope very soon.
As I walked into my grandparents’ home, the telephone rang. My grandmother answered and immediately told me that my aunt was on the phone and wanted to speak with me. She knew that I would be there, and she told me that the news of Pope Paul VI’s death had just been broadcast. My grandfather was amazed. He immediately turned on the television and was profoundly moved that anyone could be so holy as to know the time of his departure from this life. Aside from the fact that Pope Paul VI had had a premonition of his death, his death had occurred on the feast of the Transfiguration."
